- Belmont Stakes – Also known as “The Test of the Champion”, the Belmont Stakes is the third and last leg of the Triple Crown. It takes place three weeks after the Preakness and is run at a gruelling 1 ½ mile at the Belmont Park Racetrack in Elmont, New York.
